At the beginning of the year, my daughter and I faced the prospect of a long distance move from Ottawa to Kitchener/Waterloo, a city that was virtually unknown to us. Mike came highly recommended to us by our trusted local agent, and that opinion turned out to be well warranted. From the beginning of the process, Mike took the time to listen to our specific concerns, and situation in order to understand exactly the sort of home that we were looking for. He provided us with a helpful platform for viewing and sorting through listings. Once we started to identify possibilities, he was able to point out many aspects of each of the situations (both positive and negative) that we had either missed (i.e. no garage, etc.), or could not have known about (i.e. property downwind of trash dump, near hydro corridor, etc.). Because we were some distance away, and in the middle of winter, Mike was able to adjust his schedule so as to allow us to travel to Kitchener by train and view six or seven properties within a 3 hour window, on a number of occasions. He even pick us up at the train station, drove us around, and dropped us off once we were done. He was so well organized in planning out the order of properties to be viewed, the time spent at each, and the route taken between them, that we never missed a train! Once we identified a property that suited us. Mike helped us smoothly through the entire offer/negotiation/contract process, including determining a reasonable offer price, based on comparable properties within the same area. Mike was a helpful presence at the home inspection, and was even able to conduct the final pre-closing inspection of the property to ensure that there were no issues. Throughout all our dealings, Mike has always been very easy to work with, very quick in responding to calls, emails, or requests, and highly insightful, and helpful in terms of offering his views and opinions. Both my daughter and I found him to be an excellent estate agent, and would highly recommend his outstanding service.

We found Mike on the internet a little over 5 ½ years ago. We were moving from Markham and needed a bigger house for our growing family. We knew we wanted to move into the Aurora area and were looking for someone who knew the area and what they were talking about. Once we met Mike, we knew we had found the right man for the job. He got to know our wants and needs, and started to look for the perfect house for us. And sure enough, he found that house. Funnily enough (and this is the truth) as I write this review, it has been 5 years to the day (June 29) that we moved into our wonderful home.
